This is a rare problem caused by accessing Blackboard in "guest" mode prior to attempting to access one of the library's subscription resources. It is mostly likely to occur when you've recently watched one of the library's tutorials prior to selecting a database. You may be able to fix the problem by clearing your browser. You can also follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to your instance of Blackboard;
  2. Click the login button in the upper corner (see image below)
  3. Login to Blackboard
  4. Return to the Library website and connect to the database.
